Embodied Self-Exploration & Growth
This eight-week Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy series is a guided journey of self-exploration, healing, and personal growth through embodied awareness. Rooted in gentle movement, breath, mindfulness, and compassionate self-inquiry, this experience invites you to deepen your relationship with your body, clarify your inner truth, and live with greater authenticity and intention.
Each session builds upon the last, offering a supportive and thoughtfully held container where insight arises not from pushing or fixing, but from listening — to the body, the breath, and your inner wisdom. No prior yoga experience is required. This work is about awareness, not performance.
Over the course of eight weeks, we explore the following themes:
Befriending the Body
Cultivate a compassionate, trusting relationship with your body through gentle movement, breath, and guided inquiry. Learn to listen without judgment and reconnect with the wisdom already within you.
Awareness
Develop mindful awareness of sensations, thoughts, and emotions. Through presence-based practices, you’ll begin to notice patterns and possibilities with greater clarity and curiosity.
Acceptance
Explore the practice of meeting yourself exactly as you are. Through restorative movement and reflection, soften resistance and allow space for greater ease and self-compassion.
Choice
Reconnect with your capacity to choose how you respond, engage, and show up in your life. This session invites empowerment through conscious, values-aligned choice.
Discernment
Strengthen your ability to listen inwardly and trust your intuition. Through reflection and dialogue, cultivate clarity and alignment amid life’s complexities.
Truth
Explore what it means to live in alignment with your truth. Through embodied practices and inquiry, practice honoring your values with courage and integrity.
Truth in Action
Bridge inner awareness with outer expression. This session focuses on translating insight into meaningful action and authentic presence in the world.
Flow
Conclude the journey by softening into trust and integration. Through fluid movement and guided relaxation, release effort and align with the natural rhythm of life.
